THE MATTER

FRUITS

Our items are made from an innovative bio-material certified GRS and REACH.

It combines fruit fibres from the wine industry with vegetable oils and resins from grapes and canola on a base of recycled textile fibres, creating a soft, resistant and waterproof surface.

  • 1. collecte des fibres végétales 🍇

    Après la vinification, les raisins pressés laissent une matière organique appelée marc de raisin, qui comprend la peau, la tige et les pépins. Ces éléments constituent la matière première.

  • 2. séchage et transformation des fibres 🌀

    Cette matière première est collectée, séchée et broyée pour extraire les fibres végétales, riches en polyphénols et tanins. Ces fibres sont essentielles pour donner à la matière toute sa résistance.

  • 3. mélange avec des liants naturels 🌿

    Les fibres ainsi réduites en poudre sont ensuite additionnées à des huiles et résines végétales puis mélangées à des polymères biosourcés pour former une texture souple et homogène.

  • 4. enduction sur une base textile recyclée ♻️

    Ce mélange est ensuite appliqué en fine couche sur une base textile. Cette base est composée à 100% de polyamide recyclé, issu d'anciens textiles inexploités. Une fois sèche, la matière est retravaillée pour lui donner sa texture unique ✨

Notre démarche consiste à ne pas produire plus mais à utiliser des matières existantes et sous-exploitées pour leur donner une nouvelle fonction.

Un engagement vers une consommation plus raisonnée, plus consciente, plus responsable.

LA CONCEPTION

SANS GASPILLAGE

Pour ne rien gâcher, nous avons décidé d'utiliser les chutes issues de la découpe pour fabriquer des petites accroches à l'arrière des mats.

Nous réduisons ainsi les déchets au strict minimum pour un produit qui a du sens à chaque étape de sa fabrication.

LA FABRICATION

Ici pas de production de masse, mais une fabrication soignée, précise et respectueuse.

Nos mats sont imprimés et confectionnés en Pays de Loire dans des ateliers familiaux de haute technicité réputés pour leur savoir-faire et leur engagement de qualité.

EN 71-1: Mechanical and physical safety

Our masts undergo rigorous testing to ensure the strength of the seams and the absence of small detachable elements that could pose a risk of ingestion or suffocation. Their design ensures resistance to everyday handling for use with complete peace of mind.

EN 71-2: Resistance to flammability

The composition of our mats has been tested to limit the spread of flames when exposed to a heat source. This requirement reduces the risks in the event of accidental contact with a heat source or a hot surface.

EN 71-3: Chemical and toxicological safety

Our mats are analyzed to verify the absence of toxic substances or heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury, etc.) thus guaranteeing safe contact with children's skin, even during prolonged contact.

Composition in recycled materials

GRS certification ensures the use of underexploited or recycled materials, thus limiting the exploitation of virgin or new resources.

Traceability and transparency

Each stage of manufacturing is controlled, from the origin of the recycled materials to the final material, thus ensuring a conscious and responsible production chain.

Reducing the ecological footprint

By limiting the exploitation of new raw materials, we reduce the pressure on natural resources, water and energy consumption as well as textile waste which often ends up buried or incinerated.

Nots mats are free from SVHS (Substances of Very High Concern) such as heavy metals, phthalates, formaldehydes or toxic solvents often present in synthetic coatings.
